I have an RB67! does it fit?

Binstax is out! However I had problems with white injection molded parts, so it’ll come in black and white, just like zinstax. If you’re into nerdy stuff, here‘s more details.

what battery do I need for zinstax / binstax?

You don’t need batteries. They are fully mechanical.

what film does this take?

Instax square.

why instax square?

The rear opening of the RZ67 / RB67 isn’t wide enough for instax wide films.

how about hasselblad?

Too short of a flange focal distance. Those polaroid backs for hasselblad have a piece of glass to offset the projected image, which would be pretty difficult for me to make.

is mayonnaise an instrument?

No, Lucas, mayonnaise is not an instrument. Horseradish isn’t an instrument either.

more backs for other cameras?

Working on it! let me finish developing this site first.

I see a vertical line of white dots on the film, what should I do?

You need to clean the rollers. Turn the crank slowly and wipe off any dust on the rollers. Alternatively, you can blow the dirt off with compressed air.

broke my back. what now?

You should really go to hospital if you broke your back. No, seriously, send it back to me and I’ll fix it for you. You can also repair it by yourself, send me an email at hello@zins.tax for parts availability. Take a look at the repair guide I wrote on support page.

do you offer lifelong warranty and 24/7 customer support?

I’ll repair your zinstax so long as parts last. I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.

is this site brought to us by squarespace?

Nope. Anyway, feel free to send me an email at hello@zins.tax if you have any more questions or just want to chat.
